Hi!
My name is Kari and I’ve conquered the Corridor by getting involved in all of the recreational activities the Corridor has to offer. The trails are amazing ~ I am an avid runner and also enjoy biking on the trails. I’ve also grown to love Hawkeye football and volleyball and going to a Kernel’s game on a nice summer night. As for water activities, canoeing on the Maquoketa River and lounging at the Coralville Reservoir top my list! I also always look forward to a competitive game of volleyball at the YMCA or the recreational facilities in the Corridor.
The event that I look forward to all year long is Run the Flood. I am very connected to this race and have a great time planning this community event. The people in this community are wonderful and are willing to help in anyway they can. And although this tops my list – the Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers Markets are right up there at the top too!
And don’t get me wrong, although I love being active, I enjoy taking advantage of all the Corridor has to offer. The arts & culture, the festivals, the shopping & dining…everything. If there’s anything I can do to help you conquer the Corridor – please just let me know!
